Express Service

Express Service builds new diesel-hydraulic shunting locomotives suitable for light to medium and heavy duty at industrial sidings, railway stations, depots, ports, and other branch lines.

We build two axle shunters in the power range of 100 to 400kW – with one or two traction diesel engines.

Hydrodynamic torque conversion allows our locomotives to be the right solution for low speed and heavy operations despite their low power.

Express Service shunters are very efficient, ecological, and easy to service. Robust design, ease of maintenance and available spares minimize downtime. This is combined with low fuel consumption and contributes to a very reasonable life cycle cost.

We are flexible enough to make an individual shunter for any customer application. As there are not two identical applications our shunters may change in terms of power, own weight, equipment.

We recommend lower power and lower speed locomotives for start-stop repetitive duties with significant idling while more powerful types are suitable for heavy shunting and light train service.

Non-cabin shunters are controlled solely by a radio remote control and are economic low speed solution where applicable (dangerous environments, repetitive load/unload operations) .

Our shunters may be equipped with various extras – radio remote control, cabin air conditioning, vigilance device, different coupling systems, preparation for tandem operation, and many others.
